We’d like to take this opportunity to wish all our St. Clare families a new year filled with many blessings. Would you believe that we are already in 2010?
We ended the decade with the most successful Christmas Family Brunch ever, breaking attendance and profit records. As always, we want to take this opportunity to thank the many generous families who donated their talents and financially supported the event. Thanks to them and the great work of the planning committee, we ran this event expense free!
The “Christmas-Tree Men”, as we call them, stood outside in the bitter cold for hours in a row but we are glad to report that all trees were sold. Thanks, St. Clare dads, for your dedication.
Finally, we extend our gratitude to the chair and volunteers of the Secret Santa for their hard work.
It is very cold outside, but we have many events to warm us up. Please mark your calendars and support OUR school:
The Yard Sale on May 15 is still many months away but now is the time to start planning. Please pack all those great toys, books, clothing, house decorations, unopened Christmas presents, etc., and put them in your basement or attic. Consider selling them during the event. Last year, the average profit per table was $200 and that is money for you to keep!
