St. Clare School and Parish Families celebrated “Fat Friday” with an evening of fun, friendship, and lots of delicious… meat. Even though I didn’t eat it, I saw the carnivorous devouring beefsteak after beefsteak with satisfaction on their faces. J Everyone raved about the quality of the food and danced happily throughout the night.
The Shamrock Sweepstakes were drawn and we congratulate the three winners, two of them school families. We love when the prizes stay “home”.
The next big fundraiser is the Tricky Tray on March 27. I have to say that God always blesses St. Clare’s. Donations were coming slowly at first, with many businesses unable to participate due to the recession. However, in the last week we have received many gifts and now we can say that this year’s event will have the largest prizes ever, some of them worth over $500!
We are heading down towards the last two and a half months of fundraising. Please continue supporting our efforts. Stay tuned for Latin Night (April 25th), Tuition Raffle, and the Yard Sale in May. More information will follow.
On a serious note, we are kindly asking any family with outstanding debts to HASA to contact me to arrange payment. Remember that every dollar that we don’t collect is one less dollar for our children’s school. As I mentioned last year, please do not avoid my calls, letters and e-mails and keep in mind that every hour that I spend trying to get in touch with you is one hour less with my family. So let’s make April 1st the deadline to pay your debts to HASA!
On behalf of the little angels at St. Clare, thanks for all you do!
