Summer is here, and we want to take this opportunity to wish all the HASA families a healthy and restful break.
Some of your children are graduating, and they will become alumni after June. We truly hope that you won’t forget your time at St. Clare’s and will continue attending our many activities. Also, we look forward to seeing you at the 2010, 50th-anniversary celebration!
This has been a very busy year, and we will be reporting over $100,000 donated to the school. Let’s all pat ourselves on the back!
The Board continues its work during the summer. We are planning for the fall and, among many other things, assigning HASA members to committees. Please check your e-mail on a regular basis since we will contact you with your committee assignment and other important information.
We tell our children to put all their efforts into every subject they take. As a matter of fact, we ask them to work harder on the subject that they dislike and have more trouble with. Maybe we all need to apply the same attitude to our committee assignments. As we mentioned at the last HASA meeting, it is mathematically impossible to assign each family to the committee of their choice. Some of you may end up working for an event that you would prefer not to. We are kindly asking you to push yourself harder and give 100% of your effort to make that event successful.
Sometimes the key is to plan and start early. If you are assigned to work on the Tricky Tray committee, please consider soliciting early on.
Some HASA families have expressed their desire to take care of their Holiday Raffle obligation during the summer when things are less hectic for them. We are glad to report that we will offer families the possibility of purchasing their holiday raffle tickets and book their sitting hours in July or August. More information will be available soon.
We hope to see you at the Fun Day (June 16) and Children’s Tricky Tray (June 17) events.
Have a wonderful summer!
