Welcome Home, St. Clare Alumni! - We would love to hear from you and see you at our events.  You will meet new students as well as alumni like yourself. Many parents of current pupils used to be at St. Clare's! Please send us your information by filling out a simple form here. If you would like to "give back", there are many opportunities for you to volunteer and donate. Click here for more information. We thank you in advance for helping St. Clare School.

NEWS FROM ALUMNI - 2008-2009 graduates, Evi Carrillo and Nicole Samson, successfully tried out for four days in Paramus Catholic High School and made the JV Team - (Junior Varsity). Usually, only finishing freshmen can go into the Freshmen Team but our girls were so well prepared in St. Clare’s that they were able to hold their own and be placed in JV.  Evi and Nicole were commended for their stunning abilities and their cheerleading experience.

Domenico Crincoli--a graduate of St. Clare’s who often returns to his alma mater to do volunteer work—and his high-school team, DePaul Catholic, won the Passaic County Tournament title to become division champs for the 2008-2009 season. Congratulations, Domenico!

Kristen Billy, a graduate of St. Clare School, has been invited to join TCNJ's chapter of Phi Beta Kappa, America's oldest (founded in 1776) and, by far, most prestigious academic honor society, dedicated to "fostering and recognizing excellence in the liberal arts and sciences."  PBK "keyholders" include seventeen U.S. Presidents and six of the nine current U.S. Supreme Court Justices--not to mention a diverse group of luminaries including Jeff Bezos, founder of Amazon.com; quarterback Peyton Manning; Pulitzer Prize winner Linda Greenhouse; and film director Francis Ford Coppola, to name a few.  In fact, the very term "Phi Beta Kappa" has become synonymous with excellence.

Phi Beta Kappa selection is based not only upon high grades but a record of academic excellence that reflects true commitment to, and love of, learning.  TCNJ, like other member schools, may elect to Phi Beta Kappa up to ten percent of its seniors majoring in the liberal arts and sciences and no more than five percent of its juniors.  Because fewer than ten percent of American colleges and universities have programs of the quality and rigor to merit a Phi Beta Kappa chapter, fewer than one percent of college seniors and one-half of one percent of juniors nationwide are invited to join PBK each year.

Congratulations, Kristen, you make us proud!

We look forward to hearing from you! You may contact us at alumni@saintclareschool.com

TESTIMONIES FROM ALUMNI

Linnea Pantaleone (DiVizio) - Class of '83

Dear Alumni Committee,

Hi, my name is Linnea Pantaleone (DiVizio) and I am a graduate from the class of 1983, with some very fond memories of teachers and fellow classmates.  At the time, Father Flanagan was the pastor and some of my teachers were Miss Percivalli, Miss Sura, Mrs. Dough, Mrs. Celmer, Sister Louise, and Miss Collins.  I remember eating lunch in the classroom, walking down one hallway of school and playing out in the back playground.  I received all my sacraments at Saint Clare Church, including marriage.  After graduating from Saint Clare School, I attended Immaculate Conception High School and continued my education at Penn State University. In 1995, I married my high school prom date, Anthony, in Saint Clare Church and taught kindergarten in Hasbrouck Heights for 8 years, during which I received my Masters Degree in Education at William Paterson University.  In 2001, my husband and I moved to South Jersey and I currently teach second grade. We have a three and a half year old daughter, Nina Victoria, and have been happily married for 13 years.

Saint Clare School and Church gave me a great foundation in my life; friends, fond memories and religious education.  I am so proud that Saint Clare School will be 50 years old in 2010 --what a milestone!

God Bless!

Fondly,
Linnea Pantaleone

Daina-Maria Spatz

Hello!

My maiden name was Daina-Maria Spatz. I went to St Clare school from kindergarten through 8th grade. I loved my school and still have very fond memories. Our principal, Sister Clare was a role model and how I adored Father Flanagan! I am 41 now and do not live in New Jersey any longer but my school, St Clare's will always remain in my heart!
